Retree

How Retree works

Retree exists so that booking a retreat feels as safe as booking a hotel — every operator is vetted before they can list, and your payment isn't released to them until after your retreat happens.

For travelers

  1. 1
    Browse verified retreats
Every listing you see is from an operator who passed our vetting process — look for the “✓ Verified” badge.
  2. 2
    Book and pay securely
Reserve your spot, then pay through Stripe. Your funds are held by Retree, not sent to the operator immediately.
  3. 3
    Attend your retreat
Message your operator directly through Retree with any questions before you go.
  4. 4
    Leave a review
Once your booking is marked complete, you can review the retreat to help other travelers.

What “verified” means

Before an operator can publish a listing, they submit a business application — including business verification and insurance documentation — which our team reviews by hand. Only approved operators can list. A verified badge means an operator passed that process; it isn't a guarantee of any specific retreat's outcome, which is why we also hold payment until after the retreat and back every booking with a clear cancellation policy.

For operators

  1. 1
    Apply and get vetted
Submit your business details and insurance documentation for review.
  2. 2
    List your retreat
Fixed departures or an open calendar — whichever fits how you run your retreats.
  3. 3
    Get bookings, get paid
Travelers pay upfront through Stripe; funds are transferred to you after each retreat completes.
